Washi Tape Storage Idea

Washi Tape Storage

I came across this great idea, especially after Christmas and all the gift wrapping for storing washi tape:

Talk about a great idea to reuse an old tape dispenser and have a great place for the washi tape.  Plus with the tape dispenser, you get the tear edge for easy tearing.  I can’t take the credit for this idea.  I picked it up off of one of the FB boards.  Another idea I’ll share quickly is this: Save all those Aluminum Foil and Saran Wrap boxes.  The washi tape fits right in and you have the metal tear strip for easy tearing.  Another great way to reuse or repurpose trash.  This also packs well for crops.  Hope you can make use of these great ideas.

Calypso Mini-Album

Here a fun Calypso Mini-Album that you could use to celebrate a friend’s birthday or a special event.   While you can’t get this particular mini-album anymore, you can use one of the InstaLife albums.

There are a few Picture My Life Watercolor Gold used in this album.  While they are designed for watercolor, you don’t have to use watercolor on them.  There is shimmer trim, wonderful to use because it’s already got the adhesive on it and Enamel and Glitter Duos Blue.

Add pockets on the inside covers of the album and pockets on some of the pages.  Use the Picture My Life cards from the Calypso paper pack as inserts!  Love the bright summery colors.

Florence Mini Album and Flash Sale starts

Here’s a Florence mini album using the My Creations Kraft 3 Ring Album (all products used are provided at the end of the post):

Florence book

Don’t you just love the way it turned out.  I took a zillion pictures!!  The clusters of the Florence Compliments, Florence Sequins, and the Rose Gold Foil Tape just make this album stand out.

FA 1

FA 3

See how cute those are?  I have to admit when we first came out with the compliments I was a little unsure of them.  I really like creating the clusters and the added versatility of the product because it can be used for all crafts – scrapbooking, cardmaking, and paper crafting.  It’s not limited and this is really nice.

On the front, there is a little pocket with some inserts.  If it’s used as a gift, you can add a few notes to your friend.  If you are personally using it, note what’s inside the album when it’s on display.

FA 10

FA 7

You can see the Rose Gold Foil Tape just adds the perfect touch to the album cover.   When the book is opened, it looks like this.

FA 4

Another larger pocket on the inside cover.   In the Florence Paper Pack, you’ll see that you get one sheet of Picture My Life cards.  That sheet is cut up and the cards are used as inserts into the pocket on the cover of the album and in this pocket.  You can use the page protects designed for the Everyday Life Calendar in this album!

FA 5

The back of the album is simple.

FA 6

I think this Florence Mini Album turned out spectacular and I have to thank my friend April Smith for the wonderful inspiration.

Flash Sale will start today at 5:00pm EDT!!  Don’t forget to get online and check out the bundles and deals:

Zoe Mini Album

I had this kraft mini album hanging around and as I was creating from the Zoe WOTG, I thought – the papers look pretty good on craft so I used to create this from my leftovers:Zoe Mini Album wm

I love using the scraps of what I have up so I can “be done” with a paper pack and off to the next one.   Here is the album opened up:

Here’s the backside:

Creating the little pockets was fun. The new thumb notch punch designed for this is awesome.

The Coral Shimmer tape is great for making the tabs to pull on as well as being an embellishment.

Little pockets are fun to make – you can put tags, pictures, or memorabilia in there.  This would make a super cute gift for someone!

The Mini Album is not part of the WOTG and can be purchased for $4.95 (before s/h/t).  I will have one or two on had at the WOTG if you’d like to add them.  Thanks for stopping by.

Seaside mini-albums

We made these cute little mini-albums at our team meeting earlier this summer using Seaside papers.

Seaside Mini Albums

How cute are they?  Seaside Compliments were awesome to use.  We cut them up to make them go further.

Seaside Mini Album 3 wm

I made some collages so you can see how they work.

Seaside mini album 2 wm

I love how the mini-albums fold up so cute and can slip into a purse easily!!

Seaside Mini Album 1 wm

We used various leftover embellishments.  These are great for little thank you gifts, a new baby, brides maids gifts, and more!  This idea is from my upline, Naomi Smith who did it at her team meeting.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
