Montana Memories

Montana Memories

Here’s some of our Montana Memories.  Certainly not all of them.  It’s so hard to leave family and friends and time went fast.   Missoula, Montana should be on everyone’s bucket list.  I’m sharing some of our new memories.  Looking forward to scrapping these memories and pictures.   My goal this year is to get more pictures off the hard drive and into books so we don’t loose the stories.  Here is some of the fun:

Yes, zip-lining!! It is scary to start off with and great fun once you learn that you are not going to fall.

One of my favorite things is playing in the creek.  I’m so glad SG loves this too.

Honey Dad hikes the mountain.  Jeff and SG with him, hiking.

SG, Uncle Travis, and Aunt Lauren went hiking to Sanders Hot Spring.  This was SG’s first backpacking and overnight.  She had a great time!

Aunt Julie and Cousin Jack came to visit.  A stop of the A Carousel for Missoula is a must as it’s one of the fastest carousels I’ve been on and the hand carved “ponies” are amazing!

Amazing August Things To Remember!

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.  Thank you all for being sweet friends of the crafty world.  Have a creative day!

Paint Day

Paint Day

To celebrate my friend Monica’s birthday we went to Muse paint in Annapolis and did a paint day party for her. Here’s Laura and I getting ready to create are wood signs we had.  They even serve wine and beer.  =)

Everyone great time just visiting and celebrating her birthday. First we stained in the wood with watered-down acrylic paint.

Then we added words of our choice, I totally went off the rail and did my own thing.  I was thinking about where I actually had space in my house to hang something and it’s pretty much my craft room. So I did mine with this in mind.  My four words were dream, create, share, inspire. We freehand painted the letters. We’re supposed to do arrows but I did this swipe or swish thing at the front and back with the paint. And then I did a doodling outline rather than painting a square around the outside of the picture. I’m rather pleased with how it turned out.

What a great thing to do for someone’s birthday.  We had a great time  just enjoying each other while we get to paint, which is one of Monica’s favorite things to do.

Layout for the day – Prickly Pear from Studio Sus – you can get this workshop with a $25.00 order.  With the directions, you can make 6 different layouts.  Check out the pages and supplies needed in my FB Customer Group or on my Class Page.

BOGO for today:

I truly believe these emotions blends have SUPER POWERS!  If you haven’t tried these two,  snatch up this BOGO because you will love them!  You can choose your mood with the emotions oils! You no longer have to settle for that waking up on the wrong side of the bed mood…just slap some oils on make your mood better!!

I have worn Passion as a perfume. I get so many compliments on how good I smell. Unlike my old perfumes….I get emotional and stress relieving benefits and more from my oily “perfumes”!!  I love having the Passion in a roller and I have one in my bathroom where I get ready and one in my purse. Passion is also a favorite for when I am scrapbooking because it helps ignite my creativity!

Console….this oil is exactly what it says….consoling. I like having this with me in my purse too because it comes in handy when I am feeling stressed or worried.

TIP: I order spares of Console to have on hand for my friends that experience tragedy and even death of a loved one. More than one friend has later thanked me for gifting this blend to them and told me they don’t know how it works but it really does help them feel better. Nothing can stop a hurting heart completely when dealing with loss but this blend somehow helps you feel that hope and comfort. Sending Console is so much more beneficial to the recipient than sending flowers.

Mother’s Day with Hello Lovely

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is a few months off, 3 to be precise.  However, one can never be too ahead because time just passes us by and we’ll be there before we know it.  This is another great card from the SE1 swap.  Didn’t DeAnn B do a great job?   The Hello Lovely paper is perfect for the woman in your life who is your mom or acting mom.  The stamp set is actually from the WYW Mother’s Day Cardmaking Kit G1122.

You can make some super cute cards for Mother’s Day from this kit.  And you can take the stamp set and use it with other papers.

Distress the edges lightly with ink to add dimension.  Love the Blush Ribbon – it’s beautiful.

This is a bit fun.  Stamp the “From Your Favorite Child” on the side stamping over the top of the brushed stamp.  Subtle but fun.  And some of our shimmer brush for a little shimmer.   It’s a great Mother’s Day card for the Mom in your life!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Deer WYW

Oh Deer Workshop Your Way

When you purchase the Oh Deer Workshop Your Way (WYW), you will get printed directions from me to create this three beautiful layouts!

I love this layout because it shows how you can use the paper to celebrate a birthday.  This paper captures the elegance of an important event.  It pulls out the color of her dress. The outdoor background fits this paper perfectly.

Here’s another layout showing family, again, not Holiday and Christmas.  The joy and pleasure of this family shows through these pictures. Pulling in the red helps to brighten up the pages.  It’s great that the Workshop Your Way contains the Oh Deer Compliments which provides the great title ” Simple Pleasure”, the pennants, and other embellishments.  The white and gold twine is also included.

This layout shows the joy of the season – family.  This paper is just to perfect for all of the outdoor times you have from getting that Christmas tree, walks in the forest or park, sledding, and more. A lot of these events will happen in January, February, and maybe March.  The sad news is Oh Deer retires on December 31, 2016!  Don’t miss out on getting this incredible collection before it’s gone.

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!

Back to Maryland!!

Wow…after 4 weeks in Missoula Montana, it’s time for us to return home to Maryland!  Fleet3_800

We’ve had wonderful trip full of ups and downs with two Celebration of Lives – my Dad and Grandma Mary.  Both will be missed tremendously but have left everyone with wonderful memories.

IMG_6960IMG_7213We’ve had fun with swim lessons, art classes, seeing family, walking dogs at the local shelter, a trip to Columbia Falls to see family, power/water outages, and more.
