Short Story – Story By Stacy

Short Story – Story By Stacy

We got to create one of the Short Story albums during Convention this summer.  I felt so lucky to get a chance to create this with Stacy Julian!  I confess it was a little stressful to create because you are looking doing a “mash-up” of your photos to tell a short story.  Not chronological.  Gasp!  The only real journaling is on the last page of the book.   Whew, right?!  In the end, I was thrilled by what I had created.  It worked out so much better then I thought it would.

Friends Fur Ever

Friends Fur Ever

“Friends Fur Ever” is a Story by Stacey mini-album that my daughter did.  I created the front “belly band” of the album to hold it close.  SG did the rest.  I only want to share the cover at this point so you can see how I used the Stamp of the Month (SOM) – S1806 A Bushel and A Peck on it.   The little girl in the set is great to use for some many things, one of which is to represent SG in things we create.

I used a retired pet stamp set from CTMH as well.  I tried to color the puppy on the front like SG’s dog, Huck.  Love our Shin Touch Markers!  SG love our fur babies and wanted to tell the story of how much she loves and enjoys them.  She picked the pictures out and did an awesome job.   On another post, I’ll share how this can be a great project for you and your kids (or grandkids).

I can’t wait to see what the new Story by Stacy products are going to be.  I decided these would be a fun way to “write” a letter to SG each year, sharing my hopes, dreams, and prayers with her.  One day, I won’t be here to tell her how much she means to me.  With these cute little mini-albums from Story by Stacy, I’ll be able to leave her a love letter for each year of her life, celebrating what she means to me.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.  I hope you all have friends fur ever – our pets that you can celebrate their stories with these mini-albums

Story by Stacy

I had three wonderful ladies volunteer to test out the Story by Stacy line from Close To My Heart.  It’s designed to capture those little stories in life that are always happening around us.   Here is a great clip showing you all the components of this line:

Here is Ms Margaret opening her package:

This video is from SA who shared her experience with Story by Stacy

Here’s Loree’s experience:

I’m super excited to try and make mine.  In addition to making my book,  I’m going to be doing a class with three kids 7, 10, and 10 to see how it goes.  Story by Stacy is a great product line for creating gifts.  The stamps will work well for those who are calendar/planner peeps.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet.  I hope you enjoy this new line, Stories by Stacy.  I’d love to see what you create with it.
